(Photo : GETTY IMAGES/Amanda Edwards) Pauley Perrette has revealed that she was traumatized after her life was threatened by a homeless man.
NCIS actress Pauley Perrette opened up to Entertainment Tonight on Friday about a traumatic incident on November 12 wherein a homeless man attacked and threatened to kill her.
The 46-year old television actress admitted to crying all night after the incident. "He told me he was going to kill me several times and I absolutely believed him. I prayed as hard as I've ever prayed for anything ever in my life, and I didn't do anything. I thought, anything I do would escalate the situation - I couldn't overcome him, he was stronger than me," she said.

Perrette was attacked by the mentally disturbed man near her Hollywood home, and immediately tweeted about the encounter after surviving it. She said that the man had forcefully grabbed her, pinned down her arm and punched her on the nose and forehead repeatedly. The man was also spoke explicitly about wanting to kill her and showed her how he was going to do it.
The actress said her kind words had saved her. She believed if she didn't try something, he would have surely killed her.
She claims to have told the assailant - after finding out his name - that "'William is a beautiful name, I have a little nephew named William.' That's all I said, all I did."
After punching her a few more times, the man let her go.
Perrette said that she immediately took out a pen and drew a picture of the man because she didn't have a camera with her.
LAPD has since booked the assailant 45-year old David Merck on felony battery. He was arrested at a nearby 7-Eleven.
