During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," 30-year old reality star Khloe Kardashian admitted that Lamar Odom knows he has a brain injury but doesn't know why he does. The said episode will air on Monday.

Kardashian said "We tell him he had a brain injury, but I can't tell him about how that brain injury was caused because it will set him back."

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star shared that the former NBA player, who overdosed on heroine and herbal medicine at a Nevada brothel last month, continues to get confused a lot about himself and where he is. She noted that there are times that the athlete forgets his age sometimes, and that he is now relearning how to talk, walk and feed himself.

Although Kardashian is currently dating NBA star James Harden, she has decided to put her divorce from Odom on hold for the time being.

"I'm there helping him and I love him and I've always loved him. And that will never change. And I just feel like it's a really insensitive thing to fast-forward a divorce," she shared.

Putting the divorce on hold, however, puts herself and Harden in a "very unique situation," although Kardashian stated that she is lucky because Harden "is really supportive and great." The star also noted that because of the ordeal, she and Harden have to make sure to communicate a lot in order to keep their relationship going.

While the timing isn't great to promote her book, Kardashian told DeGeneres that she will continue to honor her commitments.
