Taiwanese actress Ady An claims to have downed a bottle of beer in order to calm her nerves for her kissing scenes with actor Mike He in their new idol drama 'Go, Single Lady'.

In the Taiwanese drama, the two stars play that of a romantically involved couple with many intimate scenes together. Ady says every single time they film such scenes, she would drink at least a bottle of beer beforehand for her to complete the filming smoothly.

In the new drama which is also known to go with the title 'Upper-Class Common Girl', Ady An portrays the character of Wang Mailing who is the daughter of a rich piggery owner.

Mike He plays the role of Ady An's love interest, Fan Jiangyu. The character depicts that of a man who is heir to a very successful investment company.

The two characters encounter each other and eventually get romantically involved, paving the way to the numerous kissing scenes that lead actress Andy An seems to be very nervous about.

It is not a secret that Andy An gets nervous when filming kissing scenes. The Taiwanese film industry is privy to the actress's peeve such that the crew of any production she is cast in would offer her beer before filming any intimate scenes.

"Beer is really very important to me," Ady An said, adding that her kissing scenes with Mike He were no different and she still gets nervous. Andy An also said she drinks beer in order to muster the courage to film.

Her co-star Mike He then joked, "Is it really that difficult to act out a kissing scene with me?"

'Go, Single Lady' is Ady An's comeback to the Taiwanese drama scene after her 2009 drama 'Autumn's Concerto' with singer-actor Vanness Wu.

The drama is set to air on CTV on August 23 and on GTV the following day.
