Actor Raymond Lam, who was originally part of the 'Line Walker' franchise, has revealed that he was approached to appear in a new version of the movie, but turned down the offer.
Lam said "There has been talks to do a Line Walker movie since as early as a year ago, but I turned it down. It's because those who like to watch the television drama would prefer to spend more time to watch the story unfold in every episode. In a movie, everything ends in two hours."

While the film won't be starring Lam, the movie poster for "Line Walker 2" features all of the original cast members including Charmaine Sheh, Michael Miu, Benz Hui, Elena Kong, and Sharon Chan.
The actor said that he is instead concentrating on his music career until April 2016. He did admit though that he is currently negotiating with a production company regarding the movie version for "A Step Into the Past". This popular television series catapulted Lam into stardom.
While work comes first with Lam, he admitted that if he were to have a choice in the future, he would like to have twins.
The actor will be releasing the first single from his new album in December, while his girlfriend Karena Ng will still be in Korea shooting a movie. Lam, however, plans of visiting Ng on Christmas day so they can at least sit down and have a meal together.
