After the terrorist attacks in Paris and other parts of the world, here's a story that will help you have faith in humanity once again. A Chinese couple, who lost their son, decided to donate his organs and have saved up to six people's lives.
Just a few hours after Jiao Yu died, his parents decided to donate his organs in order to save lives. He was 24 years old.

Jiao was diagnosed with brain tumor back in August. He underwent radiotherapy but there was no significant improvement.
His parents then decided to take him to Fudan University's Huashan Hospital located in Shanghai, China in October. Three days after, Jiao underwent head surgery to no avail and ended up being in a coma. He was declared "brain dead" on November 2 around 2:30 p.m.
According to ChinaDaily, Jiao's kidneys were transplanted immediately to two lucky patients - a 25-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman. After a few days, Jiao's other organs such as his cornea, liver and lungs were transplanted to other patients. Jiao helped save six lives. Zhang Ming, a doctor at Huashan Hospital, said that all the transplant procedures were successful.
Jiao's parents said that they decided to donate their son's organs because they want to help others who are in desperate need of organ transplant. Jiao's father said that they want to seek comfort by helping others and only wish that the families of those who received Jiao's organs will feel the same.
It was previously reported by IFL Science that an 11-year-old Liang Yaoyi also donated organs. Originally from Guangdong Province, Liang had been fighting brain cancer since he was nine years old. Modern treatment was not able to save him.
Liang died on June 8, 2015 and his mother decided to do a heroic thing by donating her son's organ to save lives. It was reported that Liang wanted to follow the footsteps of other people and do good deeds.
