The Secret Service confirmed they knew about the photo going around showing an image of an ISIS flag taken in front of the White House.
In the picture, it shows a hand holding a smartphone which has the ISIS flag on its screen.
The picture was reportedly taken in Pennsylvania Avenue, an area in front of the White House that is frequently visited by tourists.

The picture was tweeted on Saturday by the user @sunna_rev.
In an interview with the ABC news, Secret Service spokesperson Ed Donovan said that their agency has a division whose main job is to evaluate the messages coming in for possible threats.
"We are aware of the image and will take the necessary and appropriate follow up steps," Donovan said.
When asked regarding the authenticity of the picture, the spokesperson refused to comment.
FBI has also withheld any information about the possible origin of the tweet and whether it poses a threat to the White House and to the country.
In another photo, there was an Arabic note which translates to "Soldiers of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria will pass from here soon."
The tweet was said to have been posted on June 20, 2014, with a caption saying, "We are in your state / We are in your cities / We are in your streets."
In a documentary published on Aug. 7, the day that U.S. President Barack Obama announced that U.S. will be launching airstrikes in Iraq, the Islamic State have threatened to raise its flag over the White House.
The video clip, released by the Vice News, shows members of the militant group saying "and we will raise the flag of Allah in the White House."
Another insurgent was shown saying that if the U.S. attacked Iraq, every American will have a target on his head.
