The sisters were in Sydney for the launch of their clothing line for the country's Forever new brand. The said the event was attended by thousands of their adoring fans.
During the launch, four eggs were said to have been thrown, hitting the stage before the two appeared. The police, along with the Sydney Morning Herald, confirmed the incident, stating that it occurred 10 minutes before the stars arrived. A person was arrested immediately after the egging.
Jade Brincat, a fan of the Jenner sisters who witnessed the incident, shared, "It looked like there were three boys. They went up and down the escalators and it looked like they threw them from up there. We were worried we would be hit."
However, other witnesses pointed to a woman who was likely in her mid-20s or 30s as the culprit. The woman was said to have acted in an offensive manner and had spat on police officers.
Police officials confirmed the information to the Daily Telegraph, saying that the suspect was taken to the Parramatta Police Station and was charged with three counts of assaulting police officers in the execution of their duty.
