A French father and son's moving conversation about the Paris terror attacks captured netizens' hearts around the world as their video went viral in less than 24 hours after it was posted online.

In the conversation that was captured on video and captioned with English subtitles, Angel Le gently reassured his boy that everything was fine and they didn't have to leave their home.

Five-year old Brandon had ask his father if they should leave home because of the "bad guys" who carried out the attacks in Paris, and that they should be careful when they have to "change houses."

The entire heart-rending conversation was recorded as they were being interviewed by a reporter of the French TV Le Petit Journal.

Asked what he knew about the attacks, Brandon said the terrorists were "bad guys" who were "really, really mean people". The reporter crouched down beside the boy and asked him several more questions.

Angel Le tried to reassure his son that they were not moving houses because "France is our home" as the camera continued rolling to seize the poignant moment between father and son.

The young boy was insisting that he and his father move houses, saying "there are bad guys, Daddy. They have guns, Daddy. They will shoot us because they are really, really mean, Daddy".

But Angel Le tried to allay Brandon's fears, saying "They might have guns but we have flowers, son."

Angel told his son that the flowers and candles that they offered at the memorial site were more powerful than guns and these will protect them from the "bad guys", and will serve to remind them of the victims of the attacks.

Brandon, who was earlier seen as fidgety and anxious, broke into a smile after his father reassured him that they were going to be all right.

"I feel better now," Brandon told the reporter.

Brandon and his father were at the makeshift memorial site outside the Bataclan concert hall, where they joined other sympathizers who were paying homage to the victims of Friday's simultaneous terror attacks on different locations in the French capital that killed more than a hundred people.

The video footage was posted by Le Petit on its Facebook page and it has been shared close to 400,000 times in less than 24 hours.
