(Photo : YouTube) Valkyria: Azure Revolution is classified as a role-playing game, but it will still feature similar strategy elements to the first game such as a partially real-time battle system called ‘LeGION.’
Sega announced this week that a sequel and a remaster of the first "Valkyria Chronicles" game will be coming to PlayStation 4, according to popular Japanese magazine Famitsu.
The original game was first released in 2008 for the PlayStation 3, and was later re-released on Steam in Nov. 2014. The two sequel of the game received less push; the second release of the game for PlayStation Portable had far less fanfare, and the third was not even released in the United States.

Metro reported that Sega's new Valkyria sequel is called "Valkyria: Azure Revolution". The game was developed by MediaVision, who worked on Valkyria Chronicles 3 - the only entry of the series that was not released in the West.
The first news of the new Valkyria Chronicles game came out on Famitsu magazine yesterday with little clue as to how much it would resemble the original game or what precisely its name is. According to website Gematsu, the game is viewed as a separate series by Sega.
The game has a new setting and character designs that made it more fantastical. The game features the involvement of different empires and a crystal-powered super weapon.
The original story of the game was meant to be similar to the Second World War. The game was a sequel to the released version of the PSP handheld. A third installment was also released for the PSP, but only in Japan.
The difference between this and the earlier three titles of the game is that it is being classified as a role-playing game. But it will still feature strategy elements similar to the first game such as a partially real-time battle system called 'LeGION.'
Valkyria Chronicles: Azure Revolution will be out next year in Japan. A remaster of the original game will also be released for PlayStation 4 in Japan on Feb. 10 and will include a demo of Azure Resolution.
