Reality star Khloe Kardashian had to cancel a book tour appearance for "Strong Looks Better Naked" on Wednesday due to a "minor infection". Kardashian's doctor advised her to rest because she was suffering from a staph infection.

"Dolls! So sorry I needed 2 re schedule my book signing. I'm sick & dr's orders are that I need to lay low until we narrow down what's wrong. Ill be going for more testing today. I'm very sorry again. Stress can run our bodies down so please everyone take care of yourselves," the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star tweeted.

A source shared that Kardashian will be fine, and that the infection isn't life threatening. It is believed that Kardashian is run down and "burning the candle at both ends" since she has been taking care of her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, for the past month.

The 31-year old reality star and author has publicly expressed how tired and anxious she has been since Odom was hospitalized, sharing that people around her have been telling her to take a break and do something for herself.

Kardashian shared that on one occasion, she decided to go to the gym with sister Kendall Jenner, and that working out made her feel "human again".

The former NBA star was brought to the hospital last October after he was found unconscious due to an overdose in a brothel in Nevada.

Although Kardashian and Odom have put their divorce on hold, the reality star expressed that it did not mean they will be getting back together.

Kardashian is currently dating NBA star James Harden.
