Earlier this year, EXO released their latest album, "EXODUS," but have wrapped up local promotions following the release of their single "Love Me Right." However, there is word going around that the boys are not yet done with their 2015 promotions.
EXO's leader, Suho, is said to have revealed that the group is currently preparing for a new album that will be released this winter, KpopStarz wrote, adding that the revelation was made during a guest appearance on "Section TV".
"We are currently in preparation for a new winter album, and we hope fans will wait patiently for our comeback," Suho stated according to a report on Soompi.
The information from the group's leader, however, contradicts an earlier statement released by their agency, SM Entertainment, in October. SM Entertainment previously announced that there is "nothing concrete" with regard to EXO's winter album.
The rumor stating that EXO will be releasing a new album before the year ends was first published by Joomba's Music Group. On an SNS post, the music group wrote, "Coming this winter #EXO #Christmas #SM #Joombas."
Meanwhile, Suho spoke about the group's growth over the years that they were part of the Korean Pop scene. He said he has "become more modest" compared to when he was still a newbie in the music scene.
He also pointed out that the members of EXO have established a closer bond with their fans.
EXO's intertnational tour, "Exo'luXion," is still ongoing. The Japan leg of the tour ended on Nov. 16, but the group will be performing in Macau on Nov. 21.
