Vine has updated their feature by allowing creators to remix any audio file from any video on its service.

This update is part of Vine's strategy to get more users involved in the creation of collaborative content. Over the years, the service has become more of a broadcasting medium for a handful of popular Viner's.

The service is largely popular with comedy channels for their monologues and skits that receive millions of loops. Normal users, on the other hand, struggle to gain followers and end up watching videos rather than posting any.

The company expects the audio collaboration feature to increase users' engagement, and hopefully even encourage them to create memes. The updated application lets users make their own video creation by just simply tapping a button and selecting the "Make an audio remix" button to make audio remixes.

Android Headlines reported that the service will also allow users to edit audio on their personal Vine video. A user can decide if they would like only a snippet of the audio to play on the specific portion of their Vine video.

According to Venture Beat, once a user remixes any video or audio from its service, it will automatically link back to the original creator to give credit and avoid copyright violation complaints. To find out the source of the remix, users can tap the music note under the video and then the arrow that points to the right.

This new feature comes nearly three months after the Twitter-owned company announced that it would enable creators to combine music within the app. The company is releasing a powerful tool that could rival YouTube's own resources by allowing creators to be more creative in their work through this service.

Vine's six-second videos are made flashier with this update, and should augur well in making the videos more viral on social media.

Vine's new audio remix creator is out today for the iOS platform, and the discovery option is available now for both iOS and Android devices.
