America's Next Top Model star Tyra Banks decided she wants to focus more of her time on her cosmetics line than on her new TV show, FABLife, so the supermodel decided to quit the show. Meanwhile, there are yet no plans to replace her.

"This is a very difficult decision, but necessary," Banks revealed..

"I will be devoting more time to my new, growing cosmetics company, Tyra Beauty, which is expanding faster than anticipated, as well as overseeing my company's other entertainment ventures," she said.

Produced by the Disney/ABC, Banks will remain as the show's executive producer until December and will still appear a few times a week until December. She will also make sporadic appearances until the season ends. With her in the show are Chrissy Teigen, fashion editor Joe Zee, interior designer Lauren Makk and YouTube star Leah Ashley.

The 41-year-old former supermodel's decision came after she announced she'd want to focus more on her growing cosmetics company: "I will be devoting more time to my new, growing cosmetics company, TYRA Beauty, which is expanding faster than anticipated, as well as overseeing my company's other entertainment ventures," she said.

But she also guaranteed that she will continue to support "the growth and success of FABLife." She also said that she greatly admired her fellow co-hosts, praising the "talented production team behind the show" for making it successful.

FABLife is Banks' much-awaited return to daytime after the long-running The Tyra Banks Show ended in 2010. That series spanned five seasons and won two Daytime Emmy awards for outstanding informative talk show.

Last summer, Banks said at the Television Critics Association summer press tour that having a daytime show while also hosting America's Next Top Model side by side was just too hectic for her.

"It just wasn't a healthy thing for me," she said at TCA, citing that while she was probably "the most successful, lucrative and [relevant]," she's also the "the most unhappy."  But her mind changed when Lisa Hackner, ABC's executive vice president for daytime and syndicated programming, offered her to share the load as host with other people. While the FABLife is enjoying moderate ratings, it is still unknown if Banks' exit will severely impact the show.
