Nick Jonas elated fans with the surprise that he had just re-released his album, Nick Jonas X2.

Rumors of the pop singer's album relaunch started swirling around last summer but it was thought that he would repackage his self-titled debut. And he could have released it early on. But what's more surprising -to the excitement of his fans- is that his music is now available for streaming on Spotify.

Earlier this week, it was found that Adele intentionally refused to let her new album, 25, to be streamed. Nick, meanwhile, consented, so anyone with an account on Spotify could enjoy his music without having to buy it!

Adele has had some reservation on streaming her music. In 2011, for example, she waited for 18 months before she let her album, 21, to be made available on Spotify. Many believed that she did so to ensure her solid album sales. The British singer has yet to make an official statement about her decision to withhold her music from streaming services.

According to an insider from Spotify, though, it's sure that her album would not be available for streaming.

For Nick's case, meanwhile, the crooner's relaunched album comes with 10 new songs: "Levels," "Area Code" and the Tinashe remix of "Jealous." The singer also confirmed that there will be a follow up to his debut album as early as next year. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Nick mentioned he's slated to release his second solo album "at some point early next year."

"'Levels' is a good introduction to the next step," Jonas said.

"I think [the album will] go even a bit further with some more soul and R&B sounds, even hip hop influences in there. I'm really just digging deep."

He's also scheduled for a concert tour with Demi Lovato.
