Zayn Malik has decided to finally reveal the truth on why he left One Direction. His fearless revelations in a recent interview has generated a lot of controversy and has left some One Direction fans quite riled. 

Business Insider UK's correspondent said that Malik is excited to launch his own music, which, according to him, has always been what he wanted to do. He admitted to staying in One Direction because he knew it would be a great opportunity for him to make a name in the music industry.

Malik said that he is prepared to surprise people with the transition he has made, and that he is hoping that his former followers will get ready to meet the new Zayn. He decided that this first and last in-depth interview with Telegraph UK will bury his past so that he can live in the present fully and look forward to a brighter future.

Zayn has been working with Frank Ocean's R&B producer Malay. When asked if what people don't give a positive response on his work, he merely said that he has more than enough money to live a good life for years. "I've got enough. I don't need you to buy it on a mass scale for me to feel satisfied," Malik said.

"From the beginning," Malik said when asked when he decided to leave One Direction. That was the bomb that exploded and irked One Direction fans. He further said, "I just wanted to go home from the beginning. I was always thinking it. I just didn't know when I was going to do it. Their music was not the one I would listen to."

These days, he says he has been communicating with his former band mates, especially to Liam Payne, and maybe they might even have a musical collaboration. He also thinks that the group is permanently disbanding and that they are merely used the term "hiatus" to make the fans feel good.
