Due to TVB's decision to indefinitely suspend Sire Ma after the leakage of her controversial video, the actress is said to be relying on her family for financial support.
Sire Ma recently braved the odds and made her first public appearance after the scandal by attending a fashion show last August 14, an event which was also attended by former TVB star Shirley Yeung.

The 27-year old star faced up to the crowd during the fashion event and even spoken to media to share her feelings and thank her friends for their continuous support.
The actress particularly thanked Elaine Yiu and her manager for encouraging her while they were backstage.
Sire also admitted to being very nervous that day, but got over it in order to maintain her professionalism as an artist. The event was pre-arranged for the actress, which may have helped clinch her decision to attend.
"I'll work hard and do my best," Sire said, also expressing her appreciation to TVB for not cancelling every single activity she has despite her mandated suspension. Although thankful for the opportunity to be at the event, Sire said, "I don't have other jobs right now!"
The actress also expressed uncertainty as to how long TVB would put her on hiatus. Though jobless at the moment, Sire has to continue paying lawyer fees in order to prevent further dissemination of her video.
Sire Ma tearfully narrated that she has to rely on family for financial support for the remainder of 2014. The actress has been spending more time with her family in mainland China and has enrolled herself in classes while she is out of her job.
The issue over her controversial video hasn't cooled down and the actress admitted to seeking her friends' help in monitoring print media for any further negative publicity. Sire said she has dreaded reading the news since the scandal broke out.
Despite the dilemma she's been facing, Sire Ma assured that she will continue to be strong for the people who love and support her.
