There are reports that the Android Marshmallow update will roll out soon for Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Tab A, S5, and Alpha.

According to Neurogadget, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 were originally supposed to get the Android Marshmallow update in Dec 2015. However, due to unavoidable circumstances, the Android Marshmallow update for Galaxy S6 Edge+ has been delayed and may be rolling out in January 2016.

On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will get the Android Marshmallow update in December. Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 Edge+ are supposed to receive the Android Marshmallow in January 2016.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 sports an aluminum and glass exterior design, which is thought to be very similar to Samsung Galaxy S6. It will be available in gold, black, silver, and white colors. Its chassis is equipped with a stylus, which will enable the users to doodle on the device's screen.

It is 7.6 mm thick and weighs 171 grams , according to GSM Arena. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also features a finger print scanner which will be based inside the home button. The device has a 5.7 inch display area along with 2440 x 1560 screen resolution. The screen is QHD and Super AMOLED. It houses the 64 bit octa core processor (Exynos) along with a RAM of 4 GB. The device is available in either 32 GB or 64 GB internal storage options. It does not sport a micro SD slot.

Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 and features the new Touch Wiz strip over the user interface. It sports a 16 mega pixel rear camera which is equipped with optical image stabilization. The front camera sports a resolution of 5 mega pixels.
