(Photo : Thierry Chesnot) French investigators may finally have the ammunition they need to convict a prime suspect of the Nov. 13 Paris attacks - Salah Abdeslam.
French police have possibly found new evidence linked to the Nov. 13 terrorist attacks in Paris that left 130 wounded and many others injured.
According to AP, a street cleaner found a telecommunication device on Monday in the southern Paris Suburb of Montrouge. The device is believed to have been used as a means of communication during the bloody attack.

In the same area where the device was found, new evidence was also discovered - a vest containing deadly materials such as bolts and explosives.
Authorities had arrested a suspect identified as Salah Abdeslam, who is thought to be one of the masterminds of the attacks in Paris. But Salah was set free because there was not enough evidence to lock him up. He subsequently travelled to Belgium. Following the latest discovery, the investigation to resolve the Paris attacks has been focused on finding Salah.
Prime Minister Charles Michael declared a security alert to protect citizens in Brussels, which is thought to be a potential target of the terrorists. The security alert will remain in place for one week until the tension subsides.
The Prime Minister warned that authorities in Brussel will not hesitate to advance the alert to second level if the situation gets out of control. In addition, he said that NATO headquarters in Belgium must be protected as there is a high possibility it is the next target of the terrorists.
Following the Paris massacre, Belgian authorities shut down the country's subway system, shops, schools and other institutions. This greatly affected the economy and citizens. "We are very alert and call for caution", the PM said.
At the moment, the manhunt is still ongoing for Salah, and authorities involved in the investigation are hopeful that the case will be resolved soon.
