'Criminal Minds' Star Kirsten Vangsness Announces Engagement to Keith Hanson

"Criminal Minds" resident "baby girl" Kirsten Vangsness is engaged. Actor Keith Hanson popped the question on Nov. 15 in front of close family and friends of the couple. Hanson reportedly presented Kirsten with an elegant emerald ring surrounded with diamonds.
The actress acknowledged that Hanson is the perfect partner for her. She added, "I feel like we evolve. When you are with somebody and you get to mush up next to them - that's the best part of it."

ContactMusic reported that this is not the first engagement for Kirsten. The actress was previously engaged to Melanie Goldstein, but their relationship ended in 2013.
Kirsten explained that she and Goldstein chose to end their relationship mutually and that they simply just had to chase their dreams and goals in separate ways.
After being in a relationship with a woman for quite a long time, Kirsten admitted that she did not expect that she will get to enjoy her "happily ever after" with a man.
According to E! Online, wedding plans are on the books and based on Kirsten's revealtions, it is going to be quite unique and exciting. Kirsten said that there are going to be some dinosaurs that she wants to spray paint with color gold. She added that she wants to incorporate all the things that she loves at her wedding including "Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, dinosaurs and Doctor Who."
When asked about the dress, Kirsten didn't mentioned any designer. She just said that she wants it to be a plaid dress that "is so cool" because she wants to wear it again when she gets nominated for a major award.
As for the groom, Kirsten said that her fiancée is going to help in planning, The actress even said that Hanson is more into details than she is.
