Hollywood is abuzz about the latest celebrity hookup of supermodel Gigi Hadid and former One Direction singer Zayn Malik.

The pair have raised eyebrows after being spotted together repeatedly. On Sunday, they were seen together at the after-party event of the American Music Awards (AMAS) in West Hollywood.

Several pictures of the two together released by E! News has strenghtened rumors that they are involved in a romantic relationship.

One of the photos showed Hadid hopping into Malik's car after the AMAS after-party.

Reports said Malik did not join Hadid at the party but he was there to pick her up after the event

"Zayn was not with Gigi inside the party. He came to pick her up afterwards. Gigi walked out the front of the restaurant and hopped in the car with him," a source told E! News.

The two were shown having a conversation with each other with Malik seated at the back seat of the car behind Hadid. The duo have long been known to be 'close friends' and have not confirmed rumors that they are dating.

Sources close to Hadid said it is too soon for the model and singer to get into a romantic relationship with Malik. But the two seems like they are on their way there as they have been spending quality time together lately.

Showbiz insiders said that the two have been friends for a long while and that Gigi and Zayn have been 'hanging out' with each other more often lately.

Reports indicate that Gigi is not going to jump into a relationship so soon and that she just wants to have some fun and spend time on herself and her career.

The two stars recently broke up with their partners - Hadid called it quits with Joe Jonas earlier this month and Zayn split with former fiancee Perrie Edwards six months ago.
