Disney-Pixar's most anticipated film of the year The Good Dinosaur is a charming and fun-filled animation movie.

"The Good Dinosaur has a few things on its mind, but its tone is overwhelmingly playful, not hectoring," reads a review from the New York Times.

The movie talks about a friendship between a dinosaur and a child. The story revolves around the journey of these two friends and how they surpassed challenges.

"If Inside Out, the last Pixar movie, asked what makes us human (laughter, for one, salted with tears), The Good Dinosaur suggests that there's a great deal more to the story than we Homo sapiens. Here, nature isn't a backdrop or an afterthought, but the main event-a buzzing, blooming wonder from the soft pink of a sun-kissed sky to the crystal waters that Arlo runs alongside and the huge pines that vault over him like a cathedral," the New York Times said in its review.

"In ordinary hand, The Good Dinosaur might not be worth your time. It's got its share of gee-whiz elements and isn't shy about imparting sweet lessons ideal for improving 5-year-old minds. But this is Pixar we're talking about, and for those folks doing things the ordinary way is never an option," Kenneth Turan said in his review for the Los Angeles Times.

In overall, The Good Dinosaur does not fail its audience for fun-filled entertainment. It has all the ingredients to make it as an appealing movie for children and for the young at heart.

Just like most Disney animated films, The Good Dinosaur also present a moral lesson about family and friendship.

Over the years, Pixar has been known in producing top-grossing animated films such as the Toy Story, Car, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo and and Inside Out.
