After Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce from estranged husband Lamar Odom eight months ago, the pair remains technically married. However, Odom has sought to disassociate himself from Kardashian and attempted to make a comeback in the NBA.

The former Lakers player has now expressed his frustration that his reality star wife and her family have still included him on the reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" as a scandalous story line.

Odom also claimed that the Kardashian family has "set him up" for him to show up in front of the cameras.

While the youngest Kardashian sister has mentioned her messed up marriage all throughout the season, the latest KUWTK episode showed an actual appearance of her estranged b-ball player husband.

An incident from last May was shown at the time when Odom was denied from entering a club where Kardashian's rapper boyfriend French Montana had been performing.

Although preview clips showed how surprised the 30-year-old reality star was, insiders told RadarOnline that it had all been for show.

 "Lamar was extremely upset, because Khloé was the one who had told him where she would be that night," the source said. "Lamar was only in Los Angeles for a few days, and did want to talk to her. He had no idea that there would be cameras from the show there, and he felt like she set him up."

In a phone conversation between the pair the following day, Kardashian admitted that she was expecting the cameras to roll even before they had their confrontation.

Her sister, Kim, had also been pretending to sleep with close friend Jonathan Cheban in a car.

The source described Lamar as "beyond furious" for being shown as a "loser" for the reality show who keeps hanging around and clinging to Kardashian. Filming for KUTWK had been a major problem for the couple during the marriage, with Odom questioning the character that his estranged wife is now.

"Lamar could care less about French Montana... If Lamar had been granted entry to the club, there wouldn't have been any altercation."

Meanwhile, as he pays more attention to making an NBA comeback, Odom was signed by the New York Knicks before last season ended, only to be kicked off from the team.

According to Knicks president Phil Jackson, Odom got dropped after being declared incapable of exemplifying the standards of an NBA player.
