Actor Will Smith, in a recent podcast, said that he is considering running for office because he is mad. He did not say why, but it's worth mentioning that he and his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith supported the candidacy of President Barack Obama.
"As I look at the political landscape, I think there might be a future out there for me. They might need me out there," Smith said through the Awards Chatter podcast according to US Magazine. "This is the first year that I've been incensed to a level that I can't sleep. So I'm feeling at some point in the near future I will have to lend my voice to the conversation in a somewhat different way."

Smith was talking about his new movie Concussion, when the conversation veered toward politics.
"I'm a climber. If I see a mountain, I have to climb it. I'm not a camper. I don't like hanging in one place too long. I think at this point, I'm elevating my ability to be useful in the world. I think that's what my grandmother always hoped, that I would make myself useful to people in this lifetime," he explained.
Smith did not say what public office he is eyeing but it's not the first time an actor dipped into politics. Former bodybuilder and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger was the 38th governor of California from 2003 to 2011. Clint Eastwood was also mayor of Carmel, California from 1986 to 1988.
The two-time Oscar nominee has made hit films after hit films - except for After Earth, his second movie with son Jaden. It tanked in the box office, which by that time, was unheard of for a Smith film.
Smith, 47, said he doesn't find it hard to make a hit film. He told The Hollywood Reporter during the 13th episode of Awards Chatter that "I don't find it difficult at all to make a hit movie. I find it really freaking hard to make a good movie."
