A simple day for a family turned into a nightmare as a young man stabbed his parents over fast food on Wednesday, killing his father.

32-year-old Ronald Pritchett stabbed his parents inside their home in Gretna, Louisiana. According to Fox News, Ronald stabbed his parents - Fortunato Percival Pritchett, 58 and Renitta Pritchett, 57 - upon learning that the two didn't include him when they ordered food from a restaurant.

"They ordered food from a fast food restaurant and didn't include him," replied sheriff spokesman Col. John Fortunato told Fox News via an e-mail.

Ronald became furious, prompting him to take a knife, go upstairs and stab his mother and father. According to Fortunato, the door was locked, but Ronald kicked it open and started stabbing them.

Percival Pritchett and Renitta Pritchett both sustained multiple stabbing injuries. Percival was stabbed in the chest and this led to his death. Renitta, who was stabbed in the head, has been treated in University Medical Center and released.

Ronald was found on Thursday in a relative's house near Purvis and "waived extradition to Louisiana," according to Lamar County Sheriff Danny Rigel. The deputies found his father's car outside a house after probing some of his relatives' homes.

At first, Ronald refused to come out until a dog was sent in. Ronald was booked in to Lamar County jail after being treated for minor bites.

According to reports, Ronald now faces murder charges, attempted second-degree murder and auto theft.
