After weeks of hiding, MMA fighter War Machine has been arrested following a savage attack on his ex-girlfriend, adult film actress Christy Mack.
Authorities caught War Machine, whose real name is Jon Koppenhaver, at an Extended Stay America hotel on Friday.
Koppenhaver was being held without bond on a charge resulting to being a fugitive from justice in the Ventura county jail. He will be extradited to Las Vegas where he has several outstanding arrest warrants including several accounts of battery, assault with a deadly weapon and other crimes.

The warrants were issued a week ago, after Koppenhaver snuck into his Mack's house, and left her with several injuries.
In an emotional statement, Mack recounted her horrible experiences. She said Koppenhaver proceeded to beat Mack's friend that was there with her.
He then made Mack undress, shower, then beat her face and body. A knife was also pushed into her ear, hands, and head, while also sawing off her hair.
While she had always been beaten by Koppenhaver, she claims that it was never this bad and began to fear for her life. However, taking advantage of an opening, she ran out and asked help from her neighbors who eventually brought her to the hospital.
Doctors said she had 18 broken bones around her eyes, a nose broken in two places, missing teeth, a fractured rib, and more bodily injuries.
While on the run, Koppenhaver claimed innocence, tweeting that, "I'm not a bad guy, I went to surprise my gf, help her set up her show and to give her an engagement ring and ended up fighting for my life."
He also stated that the police would never give him fair play and not believe anything he says..
This is not the first altercation that Koppenhaver has experienced though.
In 2007, he was charged with assault after a fight outside a bar in San Diego. A similar charge was brought up on a similar situation, outside a club, in 2008. He received probation and community service for both times.
In 2010 and 2012, Koppenhaver received jail time for similar charges.
