After much speculation over former One Direction band member Zayn Malik and recent Victoria's Secret Angel Gigi Hadid, paparazzi photos have emerged showing the couple enjoying some alone time in a hotel.

Based on the images circulating on Twitter, it seems the photographers were positioned in the building opposite the hotel where the British popstar and model were staying at, Bowery Hotel. Allegedly, this was the same hotel where Zayn and Gigi were in during their last week together in New York, where both were seen smiling at each other as they were hanging out and getting cozy in bed.

The images surfaced fresh after the couple were spotted out for the first time on a date after the American Music Awards, and were once again photographed together dining out in West Hollywood for what is presumably their second date.

These romance rumors surrounding the once 1D hottie comes after Gigi was also spotted at the AMA red carpet meeting the rest of his former bandmates, where the model sent tongues wagging after she gave everyone hugs, except for Harry Styles. Hadid is known to be a close friend of two rumored girlfriends of Styles, Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner.

Gigi was previously in a relationship with Australian singer Cody Simpson, which ended early this year. She then started dating Joe Jonas, another musician who she broke up with earlier this month.

Zayn, best known for his work with the biggest boyband of this generation, One Direction, surprised fans by announcing his departure mid-tour early this year. He was previously engaged to long-time girlfriend Perrie Edwards, one fourth of the British girl group Little Mix.

Leading up to their split, Zayn was photographed holding hands with a blonde while on tour, which led to speculatations of infidelity. Allegedly, the now aspiring RnB artist with collaborations with producer Naughty Boy in the pipeline, broke off his engagement with his pop star fiance via text.
