Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Tony Romo re-injured his left clavicle during the Cowboys blowout loss to Carolina this week.
Yahoo Sports has reported that after getting sacked by Panther Linebacker Thomas Davis at the end of the third quarter, Romo came up clutching the same left shoulder he injured during the second week of the season.

Romo was quickly sent to the hospital where he received several x-rays to confirm if he did break his clavicle again. While there is no word on the results of these x-rays, Sporting News has been told that the 35-year-old quarterback will not be returning this season.
The loss of Romo has many experts believing that this could be the end of a disappointing season for the Cowboys, who are defending NFC East division champions.
Head Coach Jason Garret has had to deal with injuries to several key players this season. Pro Bowl Wide Receiver Dez Bryant has been playing hurt after injurying his foot during the preseason, Linebacker Sean Lee once again hurt his knee, Cornerback Brandon Carr has been playing with a bad shoulder and now Romo is out for the season.
Backup quarterback Matt Cassel has not done a good job in relief for Romo, as the Cowboys have lost every game that the star quarterback has been out.
When asked about the injury Romo stated that the chances of getting hurt are always there especially after getting injured early in the season. The pro-bowl quarterback also stated that the time that getting injured again is when you're trying not to get injured.
As funny as that sounds Romo finally states that he is saddened by the fact that his injury took the team out of the game and possibly the playoffs.
With only a few more weeks left in the season the only thing Romo can do at this point is make sure his injury is correctly addressed and start the healing process. What many thought was going possibly another Super Bowl run has turned out to be yet another disappointment.
