Hong Kong Actress-Singer Charlene Choi, who recently turned 33, celebrated her birthday with a few of her friends at a party.

Choi became uninhibited due to increased alcohol intake and outwardly expressed her disappointment towards men, according to Lollipop SG.

The 'Kung Fu Soccer' star has a string of failed relationships from the past. Choi discreetly married fellow actor Ronald Cheng in 2006. However, the marriage lasted for only four years and the couple eventually divorced.

Choi moved on from the failed marriage to date William Chan in 2011. Choi and Chan announced their amicable breakup in September.

Despite being accompanied by her close friends, Yumiko Cheng and Kary Ng, Choi didn't celebrate her birthday in high spirits, according to Jaynestars.

This was manifested in her delicate and thin frame in the birthday pictures, even though everyone was all smiles.

Choi's circle of friends started drinking at ten in the evening and only stopped drinking in the wee hours of the morning.  

Choi was the first person to arrive in the venue and she already started to drink white and red wine prior to the arrival of her friends.

"You guys are late! I already drunk so much!" exclaimed Choi, as she saw her friends arrive for the party.

Aside from drinking, the friends were divided into two groups: one group from Emperor Entertainment and another group from Universal Entertainment. The two groups played and old game of 'Rock, Paper and Scissors'.

Choi reportedly roamed around the venue carrying bottles of wine and offering each guest to drink. When a male friend declined to drink, Choi cajoled him by saying she has never seen him drunk.

"You men! You are always lying!" said Choi, while in a middle of a karaoke session.

Choi also saw a badminton court nearby and revealed her experiences of playing the sport.  When Choi was still with William Chan, they used to play badminton together. Her companions wondered if Choi is still painfully recalling memories with her previous boyfriend.

Choi attended an event the next day with her fellow Cantopop singer Gillian Chung.

"Let fate decide," said Choi, when asked about her birthday wishes.
