There's a lot of reasons that Ice-T and Nicole "Coco" Austin have to be happy about, especially now that Coco has just given birth to their first child together, Chanel Nicole, on Saturday.

People confirmed that baby Chanel was born at 11:47 a.m. on Nov. 28 in Englewood, New Jersey and that she weighed 5 lbs., 7 oz.

The couple can't contain their excitement and posted on their online channels their happiness over the coming of their baby girl.

"Surprise!!! Look who came early!! Welcome the new arrival of Chanel Nicole," Coco tweeted. "A beautiful healthy 5.7 pound baby girl."

Ice-T also tweeted: "Ladies and Gentlemen! Please allow me to introduce to the World ... Baby Chanel 5.7 pounds. Love is Love."

The couple announced in July that they were expecting a child, while they were taping for a new show. Shortly after, they found out that they were going to have a baby girl and they're calling her Chanel Nicole.

Baby Chanel is their first child as a couple while she is Ice-T's third child. The 57-year old already fathered two daughters, Tracy and Letesha, in previous relationships.

Austin, 36, was earlier told that she could have a high-risk pregnancy because of her high blood pressure. After seriously considering her health, she decided to live a healthy lifestyle throughout her pregnancy, she said in an interview with People in July. She also wanted to make sure that Chanel would be raised in the most stylish manner.

"She's a shoe freak already," Austin said. "She has a vast collection of shoes. It's pretty amazing."

 "I just think, Mom has a nice closet, why not Chanel have a nice closet? She's already got her little ready-made heels [to be] walked out the hospital with," Coco added.

Nicole also mentioned that becoming pregnant was a life changer for her.

"I've done everything in my life pretty much career-wise and ... I've been in a happy marriage for 15 years. It feels really, really good," she opened up, calling her pregnancy a "big jump" in her life.
