"Battle of Jakku" comes antecedent to the plot of the movie "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." It is a gameplay of enormous combats between the Rebel forces and the Empire. This is the first ever DLC of the recently launched science fiction game "Star Wars: Battlefront," Ecumenical News reported. The new gameplay begins with a new game mode.

It was unveiled last Tuesday, Nov. 24, that the "Battle of Jakku" DLC should depict the desert planet Jakku and how the Empire and Rebel forces will combat each other, as per Swedish developer DICE and game Publisher Electronic Arts. Furthermore, the game will permit gamers to undergo a warfare that happened before the events in "Star Wars Episode VII."

According to EA's official statement, gamers will undergo enormous effects or results of the Rebel's victory in the Battle of Endor, which have bring forth a battle-scarred landscape of Jakku. The storyline is featured in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

Additionally, the new game DLC will include a 40-gamer enormous combat mode known as "Turning Point." It will present all of the Rebel's obstacles just to conquer the Empire on a massive scale of air and land combats.

Lead Level designer Dennis Braannvall says that at the end of the map, the Empire builds a make-shift base with its defensive structures to shield the whole landscape. Due to emergency landings, Rebel forces need to expose opponent's camps to attack and fully control all of them.

As for mode rules, an official post describes that Rebel teams may need to capture at least three control points from Empire forces. In return, their timer is extended especially for every captive point.

The release of "Star Wars: Battlefront - Battle of Jakku" DLC is expected on Dec. 1 for those with pre-orders, and a week later for all hardcore patrons of the newly innovated game.
