So many people joined this discussion online. The reasons for escape people mentioned are: too much competition, even though you have phd degree, too hot, etc.
Some people screamed that there's no way to live in the city peacefully, it's better to go back to some forests.
Except the first three cities, other reasons for escape is no true love in Shenzhen, too realistic in Chongqing, can't afford an apartment in Tianjin, too much pressure in Hong Kong, too hot in Changsha, and low salary in Zhengzhou. As the capital of Hubei province, Wuhan has over one hundred colleges and universities. Lots of professional and knowledgeable people come here. Is that the reason people want to escape from Wuhan?
During the interview, some graduate students said that it exaggerate a little bit. Zhang Shuang, a student in Wuhan University, said that she thought the competition in Zhengzhou is more serious than that in Wuhan. It is hard to find a job but it can't be the reason to escape from here.
Wang Jin said that the salary is very important. So many people still want to go to big cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. They want to escape from Wuhan is not because of the competition but because of the low salary.
Some professors think people need some way to release their pressure in modern society. No two people are the same, so everyone is professional in one place. The key point is find the suitable position for yourself.
