Rap mogul and basketball agent, Jay-Z, is taking the blame for Kevin Durant's recent quitting of the Team USA for the upcoming FIBA World Cup.
Head coach Mike Krzyzewski said that they had a good camp together with Durant.
"He was not vocal as he usually was. Even after Paul (George's) injury, he was saying 'What can we do when we go to Chicago to get the guys to rally?' So that's the reason we were caught unexpected. Krzyzewski said."

While Team USA is visibly disappointed by Durant's departure, other companies that have endorsed the Oklahoma City Thunder superstar, were also bothered by his and his sports agent's decision.
Companies like Nike were also unhappy with it, while Gatorade was already reeling from a previous altercation.
Chris Sheridan recently spoke with members of the U.S. Federation and discovered that his representation is more interested in capitalizing on his MVP status than keeping his word to the people who were with him in 2010 in Turkey at the World Championship and in 2012 in London at the Olympics.
"It's like Jay-Z is determined to do a scorched earth negotiation with everyone Kevin Durant is currently aligned with, and they aren't doing him any favors," a source divulged to Sheridan as Team USA was preparing for its first exhibition game for the 2014 World Cup.
Since signing with Jay-Z, Durant has ended his contract with Gatorade and signed with Sparkling Ice. There are also rumors that Adidas is pushing to sign Durant since his contract is nearing expiration.
While the remaining members of Team USA are all skilled by their own merits, their chances of definitely winning the gold have decreased.
"Looking back, if you could turn back time, you would like for him to make that decision before Vegas," said Krzyzewski. "We might have invited somebody different. It puts us a little behind, just like the injuries. I asked him to be a leader, and he was leading after the Vegas game. And then he wasn't with us."
