2PM's Nichkhun Elected the Most Influential Thai in China in 2015

(Photo : Wikipedia) Nichkhun from 2PM has been named the most influential Thai in China.
2PM's Nichkhun was recently honored as the most influential Thai in China in 2015. The recognition came on Nov. 26 after he won the ME Chinese Online Media Popular Awards during 'Thailand Headlines Persons of the Year Award' at King Power Aksra Theater in China.

The award is given to a Thai politician, economist and entertainer, who exerted considerable influential in China.
Nichkhun was grately for the award. "I want to send my gratitude towards all my fans, family, as well as Thai and Chinese audiences," he said.
Nichkhun started out in the entertainment industry after auditioning in JYP Entertainment where he was given a ten-year contract. He eventually re-signed for an eight-year contract. In 2006, he went to Korea to train with 24 other students.
In 2008, he debuted as a member of the Korean boy band, 2PM, with their first single "10 Points out of 10 Points" from their album "Hottest Time of the Day." They eventually released five albums in Korea and another four in Japan.
He also dabbled in acting. In 2013, he starred in the Chinese TV series One and a Half Summer and made a cameo performance in the Thai film Chalouis.
In 2015, Nichkhun starred in the Chinese film Forever Young, Gardenia in Blossom (Forever Young). He also appeared in the new Chinese music reality show Youth Trainee and in the Thai sitcom, Yes Sir My Boss.
Aside from this latest award, he was also named a Friend of UNICEF in the 2015 UNICEF Thailand Award.
