Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump is demanding $5 million before he attends a public debate hosted by CNN. Trump made the demand after being called a chicken by some media personnel, which triggered him to demand for media respect.

Trump's statement has sparked a lively debate online, with many asking whether it is even legal for him to demand payment before participating in te debate.
Experts say the fee Trump is demanding may be his way of showing the public and media how serious he is when it comes to maintaining a respectable reputation despite being labelled a comedian.
"How about I tell CNN, who doesn't treat me properly. I'm not gonna do the next debate, okay?" Trump said. He said his $5 million 'appearance fee' will be donated to he war veterans and wounded victims of terrorism. An estimated of 6,000 people who attended the rally where Trump made those statements.
