Microsoft’s Premium Office 365 E5 Subscribers Will get Skype for Business Meeting, Conferencing, and Calling Features

Microsoft has announced a new subscription in Office 365 that will be featuring Skype for Business voice and meetings. Some of the new features available for this service including PSTN Conferencing, Skype Meeting Broadcast, and Cloud PBX with PSTN Calling.
Microsoft's new service is called Office 365 E5 and will costs $35 per month for subscription. The new service provides new capabilities in Skype for Business, including the ability to broadcast teleconference meetings and allow people to call into a group teleconference managed by Microsoft's software.

Skype for Business is a rebranding of Microsoft's Lync communication software, which was launched earlier this year. This service will be available starting Tuesday and will let subscribers to have the capabilities of PSTN Conferencing service. Users can also dial into a meeting being held using Microsoft's communication service. E5 users will also get a new Cloud PBX feature that lets IT administrators replace on-premise PBX systems with a cloud-based management portal provided by Microsoft.
According to PC World, Microsoft has been offering PBX services using its Lync and Skype for Business Server products for several years now, but the new Cloud PBX is a fully managed system that does not require company administrators to provide and manage a server whether that is on-premises or in the cloud.
Subscribers of Office 365 can pay extra for PSTN Calling, a feature that lets them provide phone numbers for employees so that users can dial out from Skype for Business without paying for the traditional landline or VoIP phone provider. Subscribers for this new service can also avail a plan for the price of $24 per user per month. The plan includes international and domestic calling, or if the user prefers a domestic-only calling plan they can avail the $12 per user per month subscription.
Skype for Business is the most impressive feature of the E5 subscription. Companies who want to avail this service can have the access to a new analytics features including Microsoft's Power BI Pro service for only $10 per user per month and the new Delve Analytics feature.
