The Walker Family spent Thanksgiving commemorating the second death anniversary of actor Paul Walker who died in a car accident two years ago.

According to E Online, the Walker family opted to celebrate the solemn occasion in the water.

"The Walker clan will all be spending Thanksgiving together," said Paul's sister-in-law Felicia Walker. "It's a tough time of year for the family. I can't speak for the rest of the family, but I know the brothers plan on spending the whole weekend in the ocean, Paul's love, but is actually a trend that runs in the family.

The Fast and the Furious actor's brothers - Cody Walker and Caleb Walker  - said that being in the water is also like being close to Paul. Doing water adventures such as kayaking, spearfishing, free diving and surfing is said to remind them of Paul.

Aside from his family, Paul's close friends and co-actors also paid tribute to Paul.

News Entertainment reported that Gibson paid tribute to Paul by posting a photo of him and the late actor on his Instagram account. "It's still not easy...2 years ago today...We lost our brother. Today, I'm just gonna lay low and process...Clarity through Prayers and perspective is what I always seek and pray for. With a heavy heart I post this...Please continue to pray for the Walker family and his real friends who was with him every single day...They're some of the best people and strongest people I know...I know you're in heaven smiling and rooting for us all...#RIH (Rest in heaven)," he captioned the image.

The Walker Family has attempted to preserve the legacy of Paul by creating the Paul Walker Foundation and the Reach Out Worldwide (ROWW). Cody and Paul's mother, Cheryl, will visit Panama to attend a ROWW conference.

"Paul talked to his mom extensively about being a part of ROWW. It was actually a major part of the last conversation she had with him the day that he died as he was on his way to the toy drive," Felicia revealed.
