The latest "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 spoilers revealed that Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) will finally get back together in episode 10, titled "The Earworm Reverberation." For the first, the "TBBT" will also consummate their relationship.

According to the official synopsis from Hollywood Hills, Sheldon will once again try to win Amy back. In the last episode, the scientist turned her down and said that he just wanted to be friends, to the surprise of the fans. Sheldon explained that he was just too hurt and was not ready to be in a committed relationship again.

However, after getting a Beach Boys song stuck in his head, Sheldon realized that he does not want to spend the rest of his life without Amy by his side. It is, however, still unconfirmed if Sheldon will pop the question this time around.

After the much-awaited reconciliation between the couple, executive producer Steve Molaro shared that the two will eventually take their relationship to the next level. He said that Sheldon is finally ready to lose his virginity to Amy in episode 10.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Molaro said that writers felt that, after all they have been through, it was the right time for both Sheldon and Amy to take their relationship further.

"After over five years of dating, we felt the time was right for Sheldon and Amy to finally consummate their relationship, and we're so excited for the audience to see the journey over the next several episodes," he said.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode 10, "The Earworm Reverberation" airs Dec. 10 on CBS.
