Miranda Lambert doesn't seem to have completely figured out what really happened to her marriage with fellow country singer Blake Shelton that led to their divorce.

In the interview with Cosmopolitan's January 2016 issue, the 32-year old singer said she is "still processing everything."

"We were together for 10 years, married for four, were very quickly divorced, and are friends," Lambert said in the magazine.

"I'm still processing everything and figuring out where to go and what happened. [Marriage] is a tough business, and we gave it our best college try..."

Their breakup also shifted Lambert's views on relationships.

"If I ever were to get married again-which is completely not on my radar at all right now-I feel like it's not about it being a step in life. It's not about a piece of paper or a diamond. It's the way you feel about somebody and the commitment in your heart," she said.

Miranda admits she's starting to be happy again and is already casually dating, E! News reports. But she insisted she's "taking things slow and just going with the flow." Blake Shelton, meanwhile, is seen dating with Voice coach Gwen Stefani and the two are already making it known to the public.

A source for E! News said that Miranda is focusing on her career now.

"I just love what I do so much," she tells Cosmopolitan, confessing how much she loves to write songs and country music.

"I love being a female in country music and lifting up other females of country. I'm more in it right now than I ever have been," she said.

Miranda also admitted that she's having her share of "really bad, long, lonely nights ahead," but that doesn't stop her from "living in the moment...and feeling every tinge of pain, then waking up the next day and going, 'All right, I'm going to ride my ponies. I'm going to have a girls' night.' That's where I am. That's where I'm gonna live."
