After four years of marriage, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster, 51, and her husband musician David Foster, 66, are divorcing.

According to E! News, this might be the most shocking breakup in the history of reality television. The couple is known for their public display of affection. They have been together for nine years.

"Sadly, we have decided to go our separate ways. We've shared nine beautiful and joyous years together and, during that time, we experienced love, friendship and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues," the couple said in a joint statement.

The people around the couple were also shocked on the news.

"Yolanda always seemed absolutely in love with him and was always talking about how proud she is of him," said one close co-actor of Yolanda.

The reason of the breakup has not been revealed yet.

There have been no signs that the couple went through challenges in their marriage. They were photographed together during David's birthday four weeks ago watching a Lakers game together.

Yolanda has been battling against Lyme disease. In March, she publicly expressed how she appreciated David for taking good care of her.

"He's been extraordinary. You say when you get married, you stand by each other, and when it hits you...He's the guy that gets my antibiotics four times a day. He's the guy that did it, and he's the guy that stood by me, every night, twenty-four hours a day. And I'm blessed," she said.

According to People, David and Yolanda married in November 11, 2011 in a fairytale-themed wedding. In 2012, Yolanda was diagnosed with Lyme disease. Since then, the blonde beauty has been vocal in her struggles against the disease.

Yolanda has three children from her first marriage to Mohamed Hadid - Gigi, 20; Bella, 19; and Anwar, 16.
