Coldplay front man Chris Martin is allegedly dating the 'Hunger Games' lead female Jennifer Lawrence because she is the complete opposite of his former wife Gwyneth Paltrow.

According to reports, Chris Martin has been secretly seeing Jennifer Lawrence and apparently, he fell for the young actress who had a more laid back attitude compared to Gwyneth Paltrow who is very strict about her diet and fitness.

While Jennifer Lawrence enjoyed eating her junk food and smoking cigarettes, Gwyneth had been very open about her clean living, sticking to certain kinds of diet, and is very active when it comes to maintaining her physique. The difference seemed to have lured the singer to the former after being married to Gwyneth.

A source told a media outlet the previous Sunday that the Coldplay vocalist felt as if he is currently dating someone whom he has been missing out on for the past 11 years.

Chris Martin seemed to be attracted to the fact that the 'Hunger Games' star doesn't take herself too seriously. The actress was said to enjoy just hanging out and having a good time when she is not filming.

Jennifer Lawrence was also reported to have given Chris martin a 'new lease of life' as they have been seen laughing nonstop whenever they are together. The 24-year old actress has been very candid about her lifestyle, not keeping it a secret that actually smokes.

Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence reportedly spent the last six weeks exchanging texts and the musician has purportedly shown the actress how much she meant to him by buying her numerous gifts for her birthday just recently.

On previous reports, the two stars have just been out of their previous relationships with Jennifer Lawrence splitting up with former boyfriend Nicholas Hoult and Chris Martin currently going through divorce with Gwyneth Paltrow.

As for the 41-year old Gwyneth, she was said to have recently made her feelings known to her 'Glee' co-star Brad Falchuk and the two were reported to have gone on a weekend in Utah the previous month.
