Here's What Edison Chen Has to Say About His Sex Scandal

In 2008, Edison Chen's name became synomous to tawdry scandal after numerous, compromising photos were leaked of himself with numerous high-profile celebrities engaging in sexual acts.
The leaked photos, which featured the likes of Cecilia Cheung, Bobo Chan, Rachel Ngan and Gillian Chung, prompted the untimely retirement of the popular Hong Kong hip hop artist and actor from the industry.

Since then, the former star has been keeping himself busy with various business ventures, including his own brand, CLOT.
In the last couple of years, however, Edison's familiar face has been seen gracing the screen once again, albeit briefly, and has released a few albums.
Most recently, the 35-year old subject of what is arguably one of Asia's biggest scandals was the center of a three-part miniseries called Being EDC for Vice China, which documented his story.
Among the more pivotal scenes, Edison can be seen looking back at the impact that his 2008 photo scandal caused numerous prominent women in the showbiz industry after the scandalous images were leaked by the computer shop that repaired his laptop.
Edison shares how his personal life was dragged through the mud and recalls how he inadvertently lost "thousands of friends that I could count on" who, after the incident, "wanted nothing to do with me anymore."
Despite the challenges of that period, Edison believes that it also lent himself to build character, allowing him to grow his business ventures that reportedly now make more than $10 million dollars annually.
As for whether or not Edison would change anything about his past if he could, the star says that he "wouldn't change a thing," citing that he is, in fact, "very happy today."
