The National Basketball Association and Adidas - the league's official on-court apparel provider - recently presented the uniforms and apparel collection for the upcoming 2016 NBA All-Star game. The attires pay respect to the city of Toronto and the country Canada where the game will be held. This is the first time that the match up will be staged outside the United States.

According to the league's official website, the color of the uniforms for the Western Conference will be in red-and-white and the Eastern Conference will be in white-and-blue. A maple leaf overlay will be featured on the front of the jerseys as a tribute to Canada's national symbol, while the cityscape of Toronto is featured across the back to illustrate the host city.

Plain, single-layered fonts are indications of the league's early days in Toronto. The first NBA game was played on November 1, 1946, between the Toronto Huskies and New York Knickerbockers.

Displayed on the upper back of the uniforms is a star patch that includes a combination of the NBA logo and the maple leaf while the Toronto Raptors' alternate team colors and claw logo is in black-and-gold jock tags.

On the jersey's neck liner and shorts' draw strings, the nation's flag colors are also featured.

A CBS Sports report said the NBA All-Stars will wear warm-up attires that embraces the city's winter fashion and style.

The fleece jackets, which are black and heather gray in color, include star patches that recognize each player's number of NBA All-Star appearances, while patches of game's top accolades including the Kia NBA Most Valuable Player, NBA All-Star Game MVP, Kia NBA Rookie of the Year, and NBA Championships will be on the right zipper pocket.

A performance shooting shirt made of fleece and tapered pant with gold and white trim are also included in the on-court warm-up attires. The logo of Kia on the shoulder is marked, but it is not immense and distracting, which is a very nice thing.

The 65th All-Star game will take place in Toronto on February 14, 2016.
