The Obama administration is reportedly getting more involved with the Michael Brown shooting, having even issued an order to have an independent autopsy of the body carried out.
According to reports, White House officers have been coordinating with Missouri Rep. Jay Nixon, local authorities, and civil rights leaders in connection to Brown's shooting.

Brown, an African-American teenager, was unarmed when he was shot by a white cop during an altercation. The incident immediately sparked protests and has infuriated people all around the country.
Protesters are now amassing in the streets of Ferguson, Missouri as they condemn the shooting of the 18-year-old man.
Attorney General Eric H. Holder, who is the White House spokesman on racial issues, has been in constant contact with the Missouri Highway Patrol and the governor regarding the case.
Holder is expected to formally brief the president on Monday when they both return to Washington from a vacation at Martha's Vineyard.
Because of the "extraordinary circumstance" of the case, it has been decided that an independent federal medical examiner will be conducting an autopsy on Brown's body, Holder said on Sunday.
The attorney general allegedly promised Brown's family that an independent investigation will be conducted due to suspicions that the state police will cover up for one of their own.
The state's medical examiner already conducted an autopsy of the body but the White House has also requested an independent examination.
However, Brown's family also hope to erase any suspicions with regards to the autopsy result so they requested for their own medical examiner.
New York medical examiner Dr. Michael M. Baden flew to Missouri as per the Brown family's request.
Baden's autopsy revealed that Brown sustained a total of 6 gunshot wounds, including two in the head and six in his arms.
Baden's autopsy also showed that the 6 shots produced several wounds because the bullets exited several times.
One bullet crushed Brown's eye, went through his face, exited his jaw, then traveled through his collar bone.
The shots were fired from a long distance range, according to Baden, since examinations revealed no trace of gun powder on Brown's body, but his clothes have still not been tested for gun powder residue.
During an interview, Nixon told CNN that the FBI has been coordinating with the Justice Department in conducting interviews among several eyewitnesses.
The governor added that authorities are doing everything to make sure that justice is served and to appease the victim's family as well as those who were enraged by the incident.
