With Stephen Curry scoring a game-high of 44 points, the Golden Warriors continued their golden streak in the season, with an exciting 112-109 win over the Toronto Raptors on Saturday. The warriors' victory showcased Curry's second consecutive 40-point outing. Pundits are now comparing the rising star to the all-time greats and the team to the legendary '95-'96 Bulls.

Festus Ezeli started in place of the injured Andrew Bogut, contributing eight points and 10 rebounds while teammate Klay Thompson drilled 6 three-pointers, finishing with a total of 26 points.
With the team's 21st straight victory, the Golden State Warriors are stamping their own marks on the record books this season, with Stephen Curry leading the way. Curry made 14 for 24 from the field and 9 for 15 from the 3-point arc as Golden State pushed its NBA-record start to 21-0. Draymond Green also contributed 16 points, nine rebounds and six assists.
Kyle Lowry delivered six 3-pointers and scored a career-high 41 points for Toronto, turning the game into something of 3-point shooting contest between Curry and Lowry. The reigning NBA MVP took over the personal duel and the game. Both stars also provided seven assists each.
Better than the '95 Bulls?
While it's too early to tell; the current run of the Warriors is comparatively better than that of the Chicago Bulls' historic 72-10 milestone of the 95-96 NBA season.
USA today highlights the difference using data as of Dec 4:
Curry's Warriors:
This season's Warriors, 20-0, Starting lineup: Stephen Curry,Klay Thompson, Harrison Barnes, Draymond Green, Andrew Bogut
Offense per game - Points: 115.3, field goal percentage: 49.3%, three-point percentage: 43.3%, three-pointers made: 13.4, assists: 29.5
Defense per game - Opponent points: 99.9, opponent field goal percentage: 42.4%, opponent three-point percentage: 30.1%, steals: 8.5, blocks: 6.5
Rebounding per game - Offensive: 11.0, defensive: 35.4, total: 46.4
Miscellaneous - Point differential: +15.4, assists per turnover: 1.79, pace: 99.1
Jordan's Bulls
The 1995-96 Chicago Bulls, 72-10, Starting lineup: Ron Harper, Michael Jordan,Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Luc Longley
Offense - Points: 105.2, field goal percentage: 47.8%, three-point percentage: 40.3%, three-pointers made: 6.6, assists: 24.8
Defense - Opponent points: 92.9, opponent field goal percentage: 44.8%, opponent three-point percentage: 35%, steals: 9.1, blocks: 4.2
Rebounding - Offensive: 15.2, defensive: 29.4, total: 44.6
Miscellaneous - Point differential: +12.3, assists per turnover: 1.73, pace: 91.1
The comparison highlights the Warriors' dominance in almost all categories, beating the Bulls' averages except only for the total points made by the opponent and the offensive rebounds gathered. This data, is of course inconclusive as the season has just started. However, the way the Warriors are playing, it seems there is no stopping Curry and the rest of the team to overcome most records previously set by the all time greats.
