Cult HBO hit Game of Thrones, based on the series of novels by acclaimed fantasy writer George RR Martin, has just unveiled a sneak peek into what's to come for the new season.
The network's yearend ad takes a look at the highlights of 2015 and gives viewers a glimpse of what they can expect in the coming year, which included a very short look into new Game of Thrones footage, giving clues as to the fate of beloved characters in Westeros.

While it still leaves viewers wondering about the biggest cliffhanger in TV history to date, specifically if we will see the dark-haired hunk Kit Harrington returning to his role as Jon Snow after he was left to bleed out in the snow with several stab wounds, it does offer some insight into where main characters will be headed to next.
In the clip, Daenerys Targeryen, the Mother of Dragons, played by Emilia Clarke (also in the latest Terminator reboot) can be seen looking worried, pensive and uncharacteristically disheveled, with her lustrous platinum locks looking gnarly and dirty.
Next, Ramsay Bolton, played by Iwan Rheon, appears as a reminder that he is still alive and well, on a horse and looking as surly as ever.
And finally, Cersei Lanister, last seen on a walk of shame, naked with her head shaved, now sports a pixie cut, seemingly recovered from the events of last season, clutching her son Tommen, who still wears the Westeros crown.
The show is set to start airing in April 2016.
