Actress Cecilia Liu does not really worry about her upcoming wedding ceremony with Nicky Wu, which is scheduled to take place sometime in February or March 2016. 

The Chinese star divulged her wedding plans at a press conference for her new drama If Love Like This, co-starring Tong Dawei and Jeff Bao. While Dawei and Jeff are up against each other to win over Cecilia's heart in their new show, neither could match her real-life would-be husband, Nicky Wu.

Nicky earlier revealed that he and Cecilia will be celebrating their wedding early next year. This led to a barrage of questions to Cecilia, particularly about the wedding details. The actress, however, seemed unperturbed and even said, "I'll wait for [Nicky] to surprise me."

Cecilia's co-stars revealed that Nicky often visited her on set with snacks for the crew to enjoy.  

The trio's new TV drama, directed by Wang Lei, is slated for release in 2016. It is an adaptation of a novel by Qian Xun, who also serves as the show's screenwriter. The story revolves around the life of international pianist Geng Mochi (Tong Dawei), who comes across crazy TV hostess Bai Kao'er (Cecilia Liu) and eventually falls in love with her. 

Tong Dawei's new character is a stark contrast with his previous roles, where he played considerate and protective men, whereas Geng Mochi is a proud and unconventional character. Dawei's TV character is also different from the original Mochi in the novel, but he is not worried about the fan's reception. 

"If we had filmed the drama according to the original book, it wouldn't have passed the censors," he explained."The setup now is extremely wonderful too, and it is very moving."

Jeff Bao, meanwhile, plays Bai Kao'er's, the rebound guy of Qi Shuli. But the actor jokingly said that he is thankful his love life is on a smooth path.

"I was finally able to experience the taste of being the fallback guy," he said with a laugh.
