A Chinese artist from Shenzhen has found a unique way to confront the somg crisis confronting the country.
According to The Guardian, 34-year-old Wang Renzheng has been seen walking along the streets of Beijing claiming that he is not doing any scientific research rather aiming to instigate consciousness of the extremely dangerous effects of smog that is engulfing China.

"I want to show this absurdity to more people," Wang said on Tuesday as pollution levels in the Chinese capital soared to levels 40 times higher than levels deemed safe by the World Health Organisation.
"I want people to see that we cannot avoid or ignore this problem [and] that we must take real action."
As China continues to be blanketed by dense toxic air, authorities in the city of Beijing have issued the highest red alert for pollution. This alert effectively limits the use of cars, cancels classes in many educational institutions and discontinues outdoor constructions.
Brother Nut as Wang calls himself, spent four hours a day for 100 days sucking up toxic smog with his large, industrial-sized vacuum cleaner. The accumulated smog from Wang's vacuum is mixed with clay and is turned into a semi-finished brick. After days of drying and exposure to fire, the final product is ready.
As per Quartz, the artist started his project of gathering dust from Beijing's air in late July. Every day since then he has walked from Beijing's old lanes, Tiananmen Square, Bird's Nest National Stadium to the headquarters of the Ministry of Environmental Protection. November 30, 2015 marked the last day of the 100-day project.
Nut Brother plans to donate the bricks to a construction site and make it a part of a new building.
