Huawei Mate 8 on Sale From Dec.9 in China at CNY 2,999; Packed with Kirin 950 Chipset, 4GB RAM & 4000 mAh Battery

Huawei Mate 8 goes on sale on Wednesday, Dec. 9 in China from CNY 2,999. It is packed with Kirin 950 Chipset, 4GB RAM and a 4000 mAh battery.

Huawei Mate 8 is expected to sport many premium features of the likes of Huawei Nexus 6P and Huawei Honor 7, according to Times of India. The device is expected to have excellent specs along with a luxurious design. It will definitely stand out amongst the upcoming smartphones, which are also scheduled for release next year.

The Huawei Mate 8 is being called the Huawei Ascend Mate 8. The device is a phablet which will come with a 6-inch Full HD display. It will also feature a Kirin 950 chipset along with a 4x Cortex A53.

It will also be armed with a 16 mega pixel rear camera which features a 1/2.8-inch sensor and F/2.0 aperture. The front camera has 8 mega pixel and features an F/2.4 aperture. The Huawei Mate 8 will also be equipped with a 4000mAh battery which will come with a fast charging support. This feature will allow for a 37 percent charge in just 30 minutes.

It will also include a RAM of 3GB and an internal memory storage of 32GB. It will come in 57.1mm × 80.6mm × 7.9mm dimensions and will weigh 185g, according to Indian Express.

The device will be available in colors Champagne Gold, Space Gray, Moonlight Silver, and also Mocha Brown. The device will be running on the Android Marshmallow operating system along with the Huawei EMUI 4.0 user interface.

It is expected to be sold at an introductory price of $689. The price may vary depending upon the colors.
