Xiaomi’s MIUI 6 Looks Like Apple iOS7

Xiaomi unveiled its new MIUI 6 last weekend in an event held in Beijing.
The MIUI 6 is the next version user interface for Android-based Xiaomi devices. It comes with major design updates and brings a load of new features.
Xiaomi's popular MI 4 smartphone runs an out-of-the-box MIUI 6.

Xiaomi, dubbed as China's Apple, said their new Android skin is "the best MIUI ever."
MIUI 6, however, appears noticeably inspired by Apple's iOS 7 and the newest iOS 8 smartphone and tablet operating systems.
The Beijing-based electronic company said MIUI 6 is currently in beta testing with over 1,000 beta testers.
It also mentioned that testers would likely grow to 10,000 people this week.
MIUI 6 will be open to the public by September and will roll out to as the final upgrade to Xiaomi handsets on October.
Testing of MIUI 6 will start with Mi 2, Mi 2S, Mi 2A, Redmi 1S, and Redmi Note by the end of 2014. The updates will roll out in 2015.
Some of the highlight features of MIUI 6 include a brand new design, which highlights its content is essence' philosophy and plat app icons.
"MIUI believes that content is the essence, and has put that belief in the design of MIUI 6," the Chinese handset maker said at the event launch.
Xiaomi mentioned that MIUI 6 supports moving apps by holding on the app and then switch screens.
It probably is the most convenient icons organizing method, supports batch organize and deletes icons.
It also features the modified camera app that lets users swipe down in switching between front and back camera.
Users can also swipe left to launch menu panel and to the right for launching filters.
Xiaomi also changed the lock-screen notifications and now will appear as folded by default.
The customized new Android OS adds a global search feature that lets users move the search box anywhere on the home-screen. It can even locate apps using it.
It also features a new Linux kernel while the new power-saving RAM optimization technique lets users adjust the device's standby time.
It has 10 GB free Mi Cloud storage space for storing messages, images, call logs, contacts, and more and the new design of Mail app.
The calendar, timer, compass, and calculator are most likely from iOS 7 or iOS 8.
