Although it seems that Gwyneth Paltrow has found a new love in "Glee" producer Brad Falchuk , her pals aren't too happy about Chris Martin's rumored relationship with Jennifer Lawrence and his reason for choosing her.

Martin was said to have fallen for the young Oscar winner because she is the opposite of Paltrow.

Amidst rumors that Coldplay's frontman is dating Lawrence, Paltrow's friend, Jessica Seinfeld posted a sweet tribute to her good pal on social media.

Jessica, wife of comedian Jerry Seinfeld, uploaded photos of herself with Gwyneth on Instagram, captioning it with "I have never met anyone with more true and loyal best friends than this baby girl. She is deeply and intensely loved by her friends. I hope each of you has someone in your life that is a wise and steady North Star like this one is to so many...Why not tag those people in your life who kill it in the friendship department? It's Show Appreciation Sunday. (I made that up)."

Paltrow and Seinfeld have been friends for years, so it's not a surprise that Seinfeld was said to be very upset about Martin dating Lawrence, with the singer saying that the reason why he fell for the 24-year old actress is because she is a lot more laid-back than his former wife.

According to a source, "Chris feels he's dating someone who has everything he's been missing out on in the past 11 years."

The disparity betwen Paltrow and Lawrence is very apparent. While Paltrow believes in being proper, serious and eating healthy, Lawrence is comical and indulges in junk food and cigarettes.

Despite Martin feeling like he missed out on a lot by being married to Paltrow, Seinfeld believes otherwise and has high regard for her good friend. After learning of Martin's relationship with Lawrence, Seinfeld was said to have advised Paltrow to keep her head up and, keep her middle finger higher.

Lawrence split from her "X-Men" co-star and boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult this year after being together for two years.

On the other hand, Paltrow and Martin were married for 11 years before they "uncoupled" in March. The two have two children together.
